International Provisions, Inc. was founded in 1992 in Bridgeport, CT. It began as a USDA food facility specializing in Asian style fried pork skins, meatballs for noodle soup, and Southeast Asian Sausages.

In 1996, our expansion began with the purchase of the Howard Sausage Plant in Hamden, CT. This modern 10,000 sq ft USDA plant manufactures the Howard's and International product lines listed below.

All of our skins are made only from fresh, selected skins to ensure top quality and better taste. They are all old fashion kettle cooked to lock the flavor. Howard's Pork Skins and Strips are harder and spicier than the International brand which is characterized as a fluffier pork skin with a milder seasoning.

The International and Howard's product lines have been well received within African-American, Hispanic and Asian markets. We attribute the phenomenal rate of growth in sales and popularity of our product lines across the mid west and east coast to the high quality of our products. Construction of an additional 5,000 sq ft of space to our current facility will be complete in June of 2003. This will provide more space for new cooking and packaging equipment, which will increase production capacity. To complement this new cooking addition a 12,000 sq ft warehouse for packing materials, spices, and inventory has been purchased. International Provision's is committed to meeting future consumer demand and is poised to meet the challenge.

Wholesale Cash & Carry Outlet

The local demand for our products has led to the opening of a wholesale Cash and Carry Outlet. The Outlet is open to the public daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm, Mondays through Saturday.
